Steve is an experienced and successful trial attorney with a widely varied civil litigation background in antitrust, consumer fraud, contracts, employment, healthcare, professional negligence, trademark and copyright, and wills and trusts. Having had trials and appeals to the appellate and supreme courts throughout the country, Steve has practiced at all levels of the state and federal court systems. Prior to the COVID-19 shut down, he tried a medical negligence case to a jury and obtained a verdict of over $1 million.

After graduating from law school, Steve began his career as an attorney with a large Chicago firm for which he had been clerking while obtained his music degrees. He remained at that firm until 2008 when he took a position as an associate general counsel at the American Dental Association. The following year, he returned to private practice and established his own firm. In addition to enjoying family life with his wife, Therese, and their three grown sons, Steve can be frequently found playing music in local night clubs.

Steve earned his Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1996, where he was awarded various scholarships and honors. He is a graduate of the prestigious Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University and holds a Master of Music degree from DePaul University.

He is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois and U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit. He has also appeared pro hac vice in Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Minnesota, Ohio and Tennessee.
