BN&F provides supply chain management counseling to clients to help
integrate and synchronize supply-chain information flows. Clients
benefit from our extensive experience in negotiating third-party
logistics agreements, (“3PL”), freight forwarding agreements, motor
carrier contracts, bills of lading, property broker agreements,
Non-Vessel Ocean Common Carrier (“NVOCC”) agreements, rail
contracts, and agreements covering intermodal transportation. BN&F’s
counseling experience lies in areas of Admiralty and Maritime Law,
marine, air, motor and rail transportation, and international shipping,
distribution, uniform commercial code, INCOTERMS, import/export and
trade matters. BN&F also litigates commercial and cargo insurance
coverage disputes, trucking industry defense, and has developed
innovative contractual strategies that minimize risk to carriers,
freight forwarders and brokers of property, with a view to achieving
prompt and favorable resolutions of disputes regarding loss, damage
or delay of goods in transit. Representation has included insurance
companies, manufacturing companies, distributors, retailers,
trucking companies, surface and air freight forwarders,
transportation brokers, logistics companies and commercial shippers,
importers and exporters of freight.
