Howard Marks, Attorney with Berger, Newmark & Fenchel

Howard was born and grew up in Chicago. He is a graduate of Tulane University (B.S. Chemistry and Philosophy) and the Tulane University School of Law. He is married and has three children.

Howard has been the Chairman of the Litigation Department of the law firm of Berger, Newmark & Fenchel P.C. since 2002. His practice of law involves commercial litigation and the analysis, negotiation, and litigation of commercial and construction contract matters, surety and fidelity bond claims and insurance coverage issues. Howard's law practice also includes the representation of clients in the handling of matters involving directors, officers, and professional liability as well as financial institutions. He also represents clients in the analysis, litigation and trial of antitrust, intellectual property and employment related issues.

Howard has represented clients in various state and federal courts, at the trial and appellate levels for over twenty-five years. He is a member of the Illinois, American, Louisiana and Chicago Bar Associations and is involved in the activities of the Construction Forum, Surety and Fidelity, Science and Technology and Business Law sections of the American Bar Association.
