William Franko

William J. Franko grew up in Orland Park, Illinois. He graduated from The University of Notre Dame in 1993. William received his law degree from Loyola University Chicago in 1997 and a L.L.M. in Taxation from The John Marshall Law School in 2001.

After law school, William worked in Frankfurt, Germany as part of the legal services network of a major U.S. accounting firm, advising international clients on U.S. corporate and tax matters. He is fluent in German and has been awarded the Certificate of International Business German from the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce.

Since returning to Chicago, William has concentrated his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, and the representation of closely-held businesses.

William is an active member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council, Chicago Bar Association and Illinois Bar Association.

William and his wife, Jennifer, reside in La Grange, Illinois with their three sons.
